Last of the Easter projects

The last Easter projects to share till next year.

The goodie bag I made my sister which is a smaller version of my Mums one. The butterfly background was made using one of the builder wheels in the new Mini. The cute bunny is from Forest Friends. My bow is a bit dodgy but Im sure they will get better with practice.

I made Easter baskets with my youngest daughter and my niece last Thursday and whiles they were busy I made one for my other niece.

Arent they cute!

Easter Swap goodies TWO

I have been wanting to try one of these baskets for ages so this was a good excuse. Do you remember those paper fortune tellers we made at school? Well this design is based on those fun little things. I have used a full 12X12 sheet of DSP to create the basket and have tucked in the pointing up squares to make the four “cup” shapes of the basket. Then I added a handle.

Of course I had to fill the basket up with something yummy and chocolatey so I bagged up 4 little bags of candy coated chocolate eggs.

I decorated with flowers, butterflies and a little bit of punch art too.

JAI SS challenge entries

Killing two birds with one stone again except in all honesty I threw an extra stone at the Just Add Ink 7 Challenge just cos I love the colours.

But you might have to wait till tomorrow to see that one as I really need to blog this now to enter in the JAI7 challenge.

So here is No 1. I did a punch art bunny with my  Swap Sisters last night then the challenge was to use it on a card or layout.

Poor bunny doesnt like like the brightest little fellow but he is pretty cute still. Time is counting down so I better leave it here…

But wait there is more!

This the my entry for the Swap Sister Sketch Challenge for this week. I went 3 D and used these  great little boxes that my upline Jacque taught me to create a project which showcases Stampin’ Up!’s Statement of Heart and Principles and I just happened to use the JAI challenge colours again cos I had them out!

Welcome to the World of Jim

Well actually GYM! Today I rejoined (after a looooong break) the legion of people all over the world who flock to these places. I am now officially a GYM BUNNY! Now as you know I  love punch art so I will use any excuse to try something out so here is JIM bunny! Get it?

Then I added Jim and his fluffy little tail to this cute wee basket which sooo easy. Back to that fluffy tail its made by grating (with the fine side of your kitchen grater) a rolled up piece of cardstock then apply glue to the “tail” and dip it in the “fluff” firmly. Simple and you can do it with any colour!

I saw these two ideas on the weband knew they belonged together. Cant you just see a brightly wrapped  Easter Egg popped in the basket on a nest of paper strips.

This basket is so easy and you can make it any any size. I made this one from a 6″ square scored at 2 and 4″ both ways to form a grid, then I stamped it. Add the 2 cuts on opposing sides in along the the score lines to the Centre square  and glue in place as shown. The handle was 1″X 8 1/4″ strip.

I guess you were probably thinking it might be the Chicken or Tractor from the EIEIO card that would be next but  th bunny made me do it! Hopefully I might get back to those two punch art  projects.

Happy Stamping
