Big Shot, Scrapbooking

Oo La La!

I was recently introduced to French (or European) scrapbooking which uses very little in the way of embellishment and uses mostly your photo, pens, chalk and maybe a little cardstock with a stencil to create gorgeous pages. At my last Papercrafters Day one of my customers, the lovely Tina, gave us a demo of how to use the stencils and create pages. Here is what I did with it. I liked the first page on the left better than the second but it’s too late to change once everything is glued down : 0 I did have the second base page as Whisper White but it just didn’t look right so to salvage it I trimmed around it (love my new trimmer!!) and mounted it on another Early Espresso piece.

Cards - General

Change it up!

Wanted to show you a card today. The main section of this card was sent to me as part of a swap (sorry I cant remember who created it but add a comment if you know) I wanted to make it into a full size card but didn’t want to just plonk it onto a card base. I also wanted to keep the masculine feel of the card so I embossed 2/3 rds of the card front using the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I think the result was actually pretty good.

Just one week left till the new Idea Book and Catalogue which also means that there are only a few days left to order those retiring products so dont miss out!! Email me! with your order or give me a ring.
