I was recently introduced to French (or European) scrapbooking which uses very little in the way of embellishment and uses mostly your photo, pens, chalk and maybe a little cardstock with a stencil to create gorgeous pages. At my last Papercrafters Day one of my customers, the lovely Tina, gave us a demo of how to use the stencils and create pages. Here is what I did with it. I liked the first page on the left better than the second but it’s too late to change once everything is glued down : 0 I did have the second base page as Whisper White but it just didn’t look right so to salvage it I trimmed around it (love my new trimmer!!) and mounted it on another Early Espresso piece.
Being that I cant help but fiddle I did emboss the coloured panels with the Square Lattice folder and sponged the edges of all the coloured pieces with ink too. Here is a better shot of the first page. How cute is that wee midget of mine!
