This one ROXX

Did you like the title? It kinda goes with the page really.

I was so pleased with the way this page turned out. It was based on a sketch from my Swap Sisters Group challenge. I used the Slit punch to create the scallop borders in black and white. The matting colour is Baja Breeze and I used a random bit of paper for the photo base in rd, blue and white. I didnt like the white space around the frame so after looking at it for a while I decided to pick up the flower motif from the paper and stamp in Basic Black the line flower from Occassionally to add some interest to the white. Much better!!

As I said yesterday I was keen to try this altered project challenge from Swap Sisters. Here  is what I made

How gorgeous is this!

I intend to add month cards and finish it as a card file for birthdays just like a bulky birthday book! there is probably a special name for it but I can think of it! I have used Bella Blue DSP; Very Vanilla and Not Quite Navy cardstock; Sincere Salutations stamp set; kraft taffeta ribbon and the scallop edge punch. Opps forgot the Chocolate Chip ink to ink the flowers and stamp the sentiment. Cant wait to get it all finished but so much to do this week as Ashburton extravaganza coming up on Saturday!
