Sunburst Surprise

I had a little bit of fun with the Sunburst technique which is the one I’m teaching at my Coffee and Cards class on Wednesday. It also happens to be the Just Add Ink Challenge this week too! I needed a birthday card for a wee boy and I saw a couple I kind of liked, one by Veronica Kettle and some punch art by “the Crafty Owl”. Oh I miss Punch art … sigh…. but I changed this up a bit to make it mine. He’s an awesome wee guy and only a little scary!

And here he is on my Sunburst Card

A to Z Happy Monsters

Hi folks here is another birthday card for a little friend who turned 2 a couple of weeks ago. I used the A to Z Background stamp again but only inked up a section of it and stamped it in lots of bright colours to create this funky background. The Owl Builder Punch makes a very credible “monster” especially when you add the face and some arms using an extra set of feet.

Product used:

Stamps: Bring on the cake, A to Z

Cardstock: Island Indigo, Soft Suede, Whisper White, scraps of Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Peach Parfait, Basic Black

Tools: Owl Builder Punch, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait Stampin’ markers, White Gel Pen, Stampin’ Marker Basic Black, Stampin’ Sponge

Aliens landed on Zoe’s book!

Isnt he cute!? Zoe saw me making the Alien birthday card last week and asked me for a bookmark like them so this is what I came up with. A little bit different to the ones on the card but she was happy with it. This Owl punch is super useful and makes more than just owls! I really slathered on the Dazzling Diamonds on his antennae which had a great effect.
