Hello folks I have for you tonight another pair of cards in my series Two Cards One Sketch.
Here is the sketch I came up with which was based on another card I saw on Pinterest which of course I didnt save the creator of.
I have used mostly retiring product tonight to showcase some of those with the first card using three stamp sets, Kindness Matters (love it AND its down to $14.97 in clearmount!!!), French Foliage and Itty Bitty Bits, the papers are from Tea for Two DSP pack in the Seasonal Catalogue. Colourway is Chocolate Chip, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral and Bashful Blue with a touch of Island Indigo
And here comes version two using a colour that is coming back into the catalogue, Blushing Bride, with Tempting Turquoise, Pool Party and Primrose Petals which I THINK is finally growing on me! The stamps I have used are Greeting Card Kids, Itty Bitty Bits, Every Little Bit (which are ALL retiring) and Teeny Tiny sentiments. I have of course used the Honeycomb Embossing folders to create the hexagons for this card using paper from both the Comfort Cafe and Twitterpated DSP packs which I have then sponged the edges of. I even got to use my new Oval Framelits!
If you check the catalogue image for the Greeting Card Kids set you will find that the wee girl is actually pulling along a Christmas Tree, which I have replaced with a present. To do this I inked the stamp in chocolate chip ink then used a blender pen to take the ink OFF the tree part of the image. Just lift the ink with the blender pen and scribble off onto scrap paper until there is no ink left on that part. Lucky for me the present fitted perfectly on the back part of the wee sled, positioned with the help of my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig. I just drew a line up to her scarf to make the box 3 D and added some more dots. Aren’t I a clever bunny, I was impressed with myself. Both the Seam binding ribbon and the lace threaded through the tags on these cards is from the about to retire Artisan Embellishment Kits on page 10 of the Seasonal Catalogue.
It’s easy to place your orders through my Online Store HERE or just Email me!, I will be placing an order early next week and remember all of the retiring product is WHILE STOCKS LAST.
