Self Close Box and Matching Card

This is a really cool box, I love that it stays shut by itself. I used paper from the Cherry On Top 6X6 paper stack. The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings. I added some punch art cherries using 3/4″ circle and 1 1/4″ Circle double punched for the leaf. Of course the Bow was made using the Bow Builder Punch.

To open the box simply squeeze the edges and it pops open.

The Cherry On Top

Last Sunday I attended an online Swap Sisters Class with Sheri who taught us how to make this cool card.

Sheri is condering renaming the classes “Blind cardmaking” as we make the card as she talks us through it and sometimes we get a little muddled but it all makes sense in the end. It is so much fun and the Cherry on Top is we get to have fun crafting together and chatting AND learn something new. How cool is that! Here is the inside of the card:

I so love this cherry paper so I made two big cherries from the butterfly punch and a 3/4″ circle punch to complement them. The chrries are glossy as I added Crystal Effects over them.The stems I drew in by hand and the leaf is from Vintage vogue. The colours are Real Red and Garden Green which I ordered by accident but am quite enjoying using now. Who knew!

Anyway you can stick a Store Gift card long ways in the red space which is connected to the top cover ans slides into the bottom frame of the bottom cover if that makes sense.
