Christmas, Scrapbooking

Rebirth of the Scrapper in Daffyscrapper

It soooo long since I have done any scrapbooking. I was a scrapbooker long before I took up stamping and card making but somehow along the way I lost my scrappy mojo. I’m happy to say I have done 13 pages over the last fortnight. The first ones were painfully slow to do as I strived to regain my mojo and create a page. I’ve even had a go at a Project Life Pocket page double layout which I will share later in the week. But here for you today is this page. Nice and simple to start with : )

Christmas, Flash Cards by Connie

Santa’s Gifts

Another Santa’s Gifts card. I finally remembered to get out my Bow Builder Punch (#137414 $38.00 p167) and it adds a special touch to this card. My Stampin’ Write Markers came out too along with a White Stampin’ Chalk Marker for some highlights. Isn’t the little candy cane  cute as a background and did you spot the wee bird down in the bottom corner?

Holiday Sticky Note Holder

I attended a training day with Stampin’ Up! recently and took along this wee cutie as a swap. I resized a fancy fold card to fit a sticky note pad. I used two different stamp sets Holiday Home and Get Your Santa On along with some paper from Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper!  Cute huh!

Nativity Scene Punch Art

This is a card I made to enter in our local A&P Show (Agricultrual and Pastoral for those of you who didnt know). Lucky for me I got First Prize for it. I hadnt done any punch art in ages so this was fun! I also got to use a Fancy Fold I enjoyed last Christmas too, the double gate fold. Its amazing what you can do with a few punches, some card, sponges and some markers

Christmas Blog hop

Hi folks better late than never. Apologies I was a little late getting my post up but I hope its worth the wait. I hope you enjoyed Rachels project those stars are pretty cool!

Todays creation is a wee Christmas Village scene made using the Holiday Home stamp set. One of the joys of Photopolymer stamps is that you can SEE exactly where your stamping so it was easy to stamp 4 houses in a line beside each other to create these 3 D houses. I have to say it took lots of fiddly cutting and folding to make those trees, the tiny wreaths and the christmas lights etc.

And a view from above
