Here we are again with another Blog Hop but this time concentrating on products from the new Occasions Catalogue! There are so many gorgeous things in there that I had trouble picking AGAIN. Then I had an idea for a card using Cheerful Critters and that was the choice made for me. Here are the Card and inspired by Ria’s scrapbooking efforts from our last hop, a scrapbook page!
How cute is this! Quick and Easy and lots of fun. I love the bright colours.
And here is the Scrapbook page which I also used another new set on to create the background, Petal Potpourri. This set coordinates with so many of our other sets because of the variety of styles in it and it has a matching punch too. And you gotta love the flower Centre spot. So useful!
I used that spot stamp to jazz up the DSP background strips (from the new Painted Blooms DSP p 19) too
Using the Banner Punch I punched out a line of Banners from coordinating cardstock stamped with the 3 different animals. The wee punch fitted perfectly sideways to get the stripes dots and checks. The Banners are finished off with some Early Espresso faux stitching and buttons from the SAB pack with some Whisper White Bakers twine threaded through it.
