The SS Max

My little friend Max turned 1 last week and that was a great reason to try out a wee Pennant Punch sail boat!

I love these new In Colours too Island Indigo, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade and a touch of Calypso Coral are perfect sounding colours for this summery feel card. I also got to use the very cute and I think possible quite useful A to Z background stamp. These smaller size background stamps are great for adding that subtle background or highlight square. You can see them on page 100 of the Idea Book and catalogue.

The wee Sail boat was made using the Petite Pennants punch and the 1 3/4″ circle punch. The trick is to cut from the top down away on an angle towards the side you are removing so your sails side tip points up a little higher than the bottom tip. I also cut one side a tiny bit shorter than the main sail.
