Here are the ladies hard at work on Sunday at Christmas Stamp A Stack. We had a great afternoon and I think the ladies went home happy with their projects.
One of the projects we made was a punch art snowman tag. I played with that idea a bit and made some gift cards with it and with the left over card forms I added the reindeer from Winter Post.
I thought those of you who couldnt make it on Sunday might like to have a go at this cute wee Snowman so here are the instructions.
5X5 cm Riding Hood Red
4X4 cm Whisper White
1 3/8” circle Whisper White
scrap of orange cardstock
Black pen, Bashful Blue Ink, Stamping Sponges Hemp Twine 1/16th hole punch
Sponge the Bashful Blue onto 4X4 WW square. Flick the ink around the edge of the circle. Stick on WW square and trim lower corner to square off. Add orange triangle for nose and draw on features with black pen. Punch hole and attach.
For the card I have omited the twine and hole for tying but added a Bashful Blue 3X3″ card. The snowman is matted on a 2 1/2 ” square of WW stamped in Bashful Blue with the snowflake from Short and Sweet and I used the Very Merry stamp from the same set on the inside.
Dont forget to book your spot at the Techniques Class on Thursday. Tomorrow I will post a Sneak Peek of the projects to get you keen!
P.S. I have updated the Workshop and Events Calendar right thru the rest of 2009 and January 2010
