Embrace Life

Its a great phrase  to live by with todays fast pace, always on the clock attitude, remember to slow down and just enjoy being alive! Spend time with the important people in your life, make time for yourself and do things YOU enjoy. Stamping and Scrapbooking  do this for me I love creating and even just looking at what others have created. I love to see the enjoyment and surprise on someones face when I  give them   a handmade card or gift. I love seeing my photos beautifully displayed and looking through my albums.

The Embrace Life Stamp Set really embodies this sentiment and is one of my favourites. It always surprises me how you can take similar supplies and get such different looking results.

I used Blender Pens and Almost Amethyst ink to watercolour the rose images for a lovely soft look. The image of the bottom right card was achieved by “masking” the flower image.

1. Stamp the flower image where you want it on the card and then again on a piece of scrap paper

2.Cut closely around the flower image on the scrap paper and matching it up  lay it over the  image on the card

3. Stamp the leaf image  where required then remove and discard the scrap paper image which should have protected the flower.

Taaa Daaa

Ka Kite (which for those  of you who dont know  means See You in Te Reo Maori, the indigineous language of New Zealand)
