I learnt this design from my friend Christine and thought it was about time to pull it out again. It is a lot simpler design than Chris taught me but I think it works

It might be hard to see but the top of the card is acetate here is what the inside look like. I used the crown from Artistic Etchings which coordinates so well with the  Elementary Elegance set.

Embossed some Vellum, Cut out a frame, Stamp with the little bird stamp and pop the Vellum behind it. Die cut a Top Note, marked the Centre and used my Circle Scissor to cut out an 2 1/2” circle. Wheel on the Love Blooms wheel with Crumb Cake ink. Highlight dots and flower centres with White Gel Pen. Tie Calypso Coral ribbon from the SAB accessories pack to the frame . Stamp frame stamp from Elementary Elegance and fussy cut around it. stamp sentiment and wee bird onto Crumb cake and punch out using Curly Label Punch. Stick the label to the stamped frame then that to the top note and then that to the vellum. ta daa!

I printed of some small wallet size photos of my niece from last Summer and punched them out with the Curly Label Punch. The greeny flowery paper (which even matches the SAB ribbon I used) is from Spice Cake in the Summer Mini and the other is from the Domestic Goddess pack.

I was so pleased with this card! The Love Blossoms wheel goes so well with the Elementary Elegance SAB set. The Pool Party toned paper is from the  Domestic Goddess DSP pack. I used my Stripes embossing folder which I swiped with a Chocolate Chip ink pad before embossing it. I used a sponge to grunge up the Crumb Cake card  and paper edges and butterflies.

Here is a card I made using Elementary Elegance set. This one came to me in the middle of the night……

Ps I am away for a couple of days but should be back on deck for the 26th.

This is a wee project I made at the local Penguins group – Penguins are the beginning group of St Johns Cadets which is a really cool programme.

I used my Kindness Matter stamp set and the Music Notes Standard Wheel but I gave the children the choice of colours and stamp sets to create with. They still had the same wee handmade notebook and card pieces to work with though. So much fun!!

I made this card quite a while ago and sent it off to a lovely lady who I thought might like a little cheering up. It is one of my favourites from 2011.

I know it gave her a little smile to receive this in the mail so why not make someone’s day by sending someone you know a Hug in an Envelope!

No Not me! My tiny wee Great Nephew Lockie was born 8 weeks early but they  build ‘em tough in my partners family. He is now just over 5 weeks and has done so well that he was able to go home a week ago! He just continues to amaze me.

This is the card I made for his Mum to welcome him into the family.
